quite an adventure shoot in cypress bayou with a gorgeous family of 5! we went on a gator safari, and came face to face with an armadillo. we treasure hunted along abandoned railroad tracks, and ended the session with some good ol' puddle jumpin'. my muddy boots are a sign of a day very well spent...
it began with pristine matilda jane ensembles on a warm, dry, screened-in porch. we ended up with mud boots, play clothes, and a big murky puddle. and guess who could NOT have been happier about this?
sometimes it takes the littles a bit to warm up to the stranger behind the camera. but after a couple of random, three-year-old-style conversations about tigers & a few shy smiles, this one quietly reached up to hold my hand in the driveway. and...it pretty much made my day.
